AGSeans take refreshment

October 29, 2011
AGSeans was once again filled with spiritual providence last October 25-27, 2011. The High school Retreat, which is one of the most anticipated events in the high school level, had a theme “The King and I”.
The three-day and two-night event was filled with God’s messages and group dynamics that students enjoyed. The freshmen stayed in Augustinian Sister’s Servant of Joseph and Mary, while the juniors were in La Verna House of Prayer. The sophomores as well as the seniors shared the same retreat place in Carmelite Retreat house. Students were accompanied by teachers. The students were grouped together to perform the group dynamics with unity.
From the theme itself, different speakers were invited to give emphasis on the different kings that Israel had. At the end, students realized that the only king one has to worship is the Lord Jesus Christ.
While the high school students were outside the school, elementary students enjoyed the Bible Conference 2011. This conference is the version of High school Retreat in the Elementary Level. Students from Grades 4-6 listened to the message and performed group activities prepared by their teachers.
All in all, the Retreat and the Bible Conference 2011 were successful. These activities are a yearly affair..
