Amazing Grace School elementary and high school Family Day was held at the gymnasium last July 30, 2011, hosted by Ms. Karen Orquijo and Ms. Shelah Escamis.

The program started early in the morning with a praise and worship led by selected high school students with their teachers. Pastor Mario Ilmedo delivered a message to the audience. An opening dance number was performed by some of the teachers together with chosen parents accompanying them onstage. The games were opened by Ms. Pareno through cutting the ends of the balloon strings before releasing it.

The first game was the “Patintero” with Ms. Caminade as the facilitator. The winners for the first, second, third and fourth sets were the Pink, Yellow, White and Purple teams, respectively. After giving out their prizes, a trumpet performance by Ralph Ente was carried out with Ms. Escamis. The next game was “Maria sa Plaza” with a twist. The facilitator was Ms. Etcuban and the winner of the said game was the Red team.

The program proceeded on with a special number by the High school Glee club, who entertained the audience before the next game began. The last game was called the “Inahing Manok” wherein each team was given an egg to hold and the goal was to keep the egg hidden between the members of the group or else the other group will find it. The game went on with Mr.Alomia as the facilitator.

After that, the mascot parade took place with I-Luke as the Freshmen’s representative, II-Romans for the Sophomores, III-Thessalonians for the Juniors and IV-Revelation for the Seniors. The program ended with a last look on the mascot winners and a potluck lunch shared with everyone in the gymnasium.<S>
