Amazing Grace School celebrated the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord on its 20th year of bringing up pupils and equipping them with quality education.

            With the theme, "Pagsulyap sa Nakaraan, Pagharap sa Kinabukasan," the special event was held last December 14, 2009 at the AGS Gymnasium. To formally and officially open the ceremony, a ribbon cutting was led by Ptr. Celestino P. Ilmedo, the school president; Mr. Ponciano P. Ilmedo, the finance Director; and Ptr. Mario P. Ilmedo, the school chaplain. this was followed by the fireworks and the flying of balloons. The masters of ceremony of the said event were Rizza Guia Villardo and David Solomon Liwaliw. The opening prayer was led by Ptr. Mario P. ILmedo followed by the Entrance of Colors with Ina Camille Quizon as the color commander. Afterwards, member of the glee club led singing of the national anthem; whereas, the praise and worship team led the AGS community in singing song for our Almighty God. After which, a doxology was presented by the selected junior and senior students namely Christiana Ilano, Jezza Balicas, and Kaira Pe. This was followed by a dance number from the seniors and the singing of Amazing Grace by Princess Hannah Royon. It was a privilege for the school to also invite Ptr. Gamaliel A. Alba, a Day by Day church pastor in Makati, to be the guest speaker of the day. He gave an inspirational message about God's goodness that surely inspired the students, faculty, and guests.
        
            The Welcome Remarks and Dedication was also given by Ptr. Celestino P. Ilmedo. At the end of the opening ceremony, the Alma Mater Song of AGS was  sung to show how important the school is to the administrative staff, faculty members, and students. <S>
